Rear Bumper Update?

Well my stock bumper cover is barely hanging on. The three parts have separated from each other and I'm not sure how they will do cross country. (Anybody got a link to the Toyota blue body clips from Amazon?) I have to go home sometime though...

I've read so many comments on a lot of threads about rear bumpers that I can't keep anything straight now. I know somebody manufactures a rear bumper with steel tubing that acts as a tree slider. That's the one I need. I really want the pushouts so that I can tie them in to my rock sliders and also tie my bull bars into the sliders for full protection from trees that I tend to get too close to.

Does anybody know who makes the rear bumper with pushouts? It would be great if that company also installed the bumper and chopped the crossmember/frame rails and improved the departure angle.

Or someone can trade me for a tank. I really want a tank but Toyota reliability beats everything else.

Have you checked out my armor sticky thread? It has all the bumpers listed in it.

The bumper you are probably wanting is the 4x4Labs one. It requires cutting the rear crossmember to gain more clearance, and you can get it with side sliders.

That's what I thought, but I guess they changed the design recently. I don't see the option for the sliders anymore, and that top tube looks different than I remember.

I don't remember ever seeing an option for side sliders on their website, but if you were going to have them build the bumper for you, you could request it and I'm sure they would get it done. He's made a couple different versions of his bumper in the past which does make it a little confusing.

CBI has also recently taken requests to add side sliders to their rear as well.

Hmm, maybe ill start calling instead of emailing. I'm not too sure I want to tackle this myself, I think I found a Fab shop in my area that recently opened for business. I've seen their work on the forum but it always sounded like they were side projects for friends until earlier this year. I'm feeling good about asking then to do spindle and shock tower gussets.

Old CBI bumper they made a few years back. No one wanted to cut the plastic bumper cover so they stopped making it.
