Hey guys and gals I just sold my truck and got my first 4runner its a 98 limited and so far I LOVE IT it is immaculate inside and out but it did not come with the tan cover that hides your cargo and im desperate, ive looked on craigslist and ebay for days and found nothing so if anyone has one that they could part ways with it would be greatly appreciated

Baja, make sure you protect the end caps well, I just got mine two days ago in the mail, and it was broken. It's not beyond repair, but just cushion the ends.

The one I bought I got a good deal, but demand is high for these. Toyotawill charge you your first born child for a new one. They were going to charge me $238 for a bumper apron, if they charge that much I'd hate to see what they charge for a cargo cover.

Snatched one on craigslist for a 50 spot, thought it quite fair. Good thing to have in my neighborhood, although I rarely leave it parked outside.

I can vouch for that. I was the shipper I had packed that thing in tight. Even had foam on the end caps to protect them but alas be careful when shipping! Thankfully Ogden is a very cool customer and understands.

mistajohnny: Good luck trying to find a round one. I wasn't able to find one on my 01. I ended up getting the square caps and replacing them for the round ones. Eventually I found the square bracket style but never did find a round one. I have those square ones for sale to btw if you have any interest in switching. PM if interested.

If you mean the front lower valence, I just got one from Certifit for like $40. Fit wasn't perfect, but once I got it together it looks just fine. $12 each for the blinker lights, too.

Thats probobally why yours is still on craigslist...lol but no really I know thats a fair price and I wasnt knocking him for selling it for 75, money is just really tight right now

That is exactly what i got. It actually fit perfectly. The plastic had a hint of grey, I put a can of trim paint, and it looks fantastic.

sorry for thread jacking, but can someone explain to me why most 3rd gen 4runners never come with one?

people know they are worth money and keep them when they sell their 4runner, or the one that was in there was in really good shape and or actually worked, or the one that was in there didnt work and so they just threw it out.

If you're in no rush to get one just wait it out and keep an eye on Craigslist. I got mine for 20 dollars:)

well you got a screaming deal on yours, you stole it my friend, dont expect to get anymore for that price
