Rear cigarette plug access

Has anyone tried to work on the rear cigarette power plug in the rear? Is it obligatory to remove the whole side panel to access it or can it be popped out?

I’m scared to force it and break something but also don’t want to remove the whole panel if I can stay away from it as I have a drawer system installed.

You basically have to unbolt and undo most of the fasteners to reach it. It is not fun to replace [emoji849]
