rear coils and shocks ---- help/ordering

Lets cross this bridge first for the rear.

I have 3 options :

1. Toytec Superflex 2" lift
2. OME 895's 2" lift
3. OME 895E 1.5 lift

What do I pick ?

I don't need much xtra weight capacity for towing or hauling , but would like it to ride as good as possible since it's a DD.

The 895E's increased my rear ride height by 2". The 895's are 15mm taller. I am very, vey pleased with the ride, even with the stock shocks.

WOW you got 2" ?? The website says 1.5" and the other springs say 2".

I saw the difference in height , but Toytec said they would recommend the 895's instead of the E's and was wondering why since they never answered my question about it and the same goes for the "Superflex coils".

Gets frustrating since I want to put this thing together and get r done .

You also have the rear coil option of Sway-A-Way or SAW's as they are known. They give you 1 1/2 inch rear lift and that's confirmed as I have a set on mine. Ride only a little bit firmer then stock.

All Pro also offers rear springs in both 2" and 3.5"

I have the 3.5" and they are much better than the 2" ToyTecs I was running prior to putting them on.

Just my opinion but I was not a big fan of the ToyTecs. The All Pro's are far and away a much smoother riding spring.

Bflan, I was planning on getting the front and rear bilsteins with 2" Toytec Rear springs, would you recommend the 2" all pro instead?is it really worth the $70 price difference? And what front suspension are you running to use the rear 3.5" springs? Thanks

I have never run the All Pro 2" springs on the 4runner, only the 3.5", so I dont know how the All Pro 2" compare to the ToyTecs. I can only say that the difference between the Toytec "superflex" and the All Pro's was very noticeable.

I am running Icon coilovers in the front, and have them cranked up a little bit. I also wanted to maintain a slight rake because I hate when trucks sit low in the rear, that is why I went with All Pro's 3.5".

In the end its your decision. I know that All Pro puts a lot of time into the products that they sell, they are constantly game changers in the FJ Cruiser suspension game, and ToyTec just whines when someone doesn't buy a ARB bumper from them. In the end you get to give your money to who you see fit and who think actually has the knowledge and skill to fabricate quality off road products.
