Rear Cup holder stuck

I'm taking a car full of kids to play in the snow tomorrow and need all 5 seats.

On a coffee run this morning a co-worker used the back pull out cup holders. Now the blasted things are stuck out and I cant fold up the arm rest.

The cup holders collapse but right as the thing is about to slide in it gets caught on something really solid.

Anyone have any ideas on how to get this fixed? I happened to be at the dealship getting an oil change today and they couldn't figure it out. They also said it wasn't covered by the extended warranty and the only fix was replalcement. Great.

...Try another dealer.

Oh and don't say anything about kids, broke or coworkers when you talk to the dealer.

It "doesn't work now" and you have no idea what happened.

The rear cupholders are money, they're best i've used and or seen in any SUV i've dealt with.

Looks like the co-worker has to take care of it. Head to the dealer and have the co-worker pay for it.

Otherwise, I guess you'll have to start brewing your own coffee at the office. Probably will save the business $$ as well.

Is there a way to take the rear cup holder part to clean it?

Mine always gets stuck closed, every once in awhile it will open.

I've cleaned it best I can, and don't see anything, but something is causing it to get stuck.
