Rear Defroster not working...

Nada, zilch, nothing...no joy at all when I turn it on. It lights up but no one is home. I'm sort of assuming it may have come unplugged from the window. I checked the defroster lines and they're perfect. So, how do I access this connection? Do I need to have the rear window rolled all the way down or not before I pop the cover? Which side will it be on and etc?

BTW, this is a 2000 Limited...

TIA

easiest way to tell is to get a simple test light...like 3 bucks from any auto parts store...turn the defroster on and run the test light down the glass to each strip. every time you touch a strip it should light up...thats the best way to tell if you're getting power at the end, then work your way forward
