Rear Differential Pinion Seal Torque Specs

My '95 is leaking diff fluid something fierce and I think the pinion seal gave up the ghost. Any idea as to what torque specs are for this repair?

My '95 is leaking diff fluid something fierce and I think the pinion seal gave up the ghost. Any idea as to what torque specs are for this repair?

Still looking for this info- don't suppose one of you may have a Chilton's or Haynes manual with the magick number....thanks for your time.

It's not a specific number. You tighten it to a certain torque and then check the preload/seal drag and adjust. I don't know if it's different between the 4cyl and v6 diffs though, you really should get a copy of the FSM for your year.
