Rear end whine at 65-70 mph

I posted earlier about the dealer replacing the differential and it making absolutely no difference in the whine.

That's pretty conclusive proof it's no big deal!

I just got accustomed to the whine and forgot about it.

I recall reading somewhere that the whine was related to the cut of the differential gears and nothing to be concerned with.

That's interesting thanks! I don't mind it at all, as it is a truck driveline basically, just with a lovely smooth V6 engine up front. I was just worried for a second it meant something was wrong.
