Rear Fogs/Markers? 2004 SR5

Tried 'Search' but didn't find what I'm looking for.

K's 2004 SR5 has red aux/rear fog/marker light housings, one on each side in the bumper. There isn't a bulb, holder or wiring present to bring them to life, but this seems like an obvious mod. I've seen some Lexus models with similar lighting enabled, so I'm guessing that there's some place in the world where these are either an option or a requirrement.

So, anybody BTDT, and have suggestions?

Not sure where but this has definitely been done and written up. Search a bit more here or on 120.
Those nifty lights were eliminated on later models. Great safety feature and worth the time to "bring them to life."

Once I was able to find a parts website that had the wiring harness, and choice of lights (red or white) to install. It was in Japanese so I think I stumbled upon a JDM parts ordering site. No I don't have the website anymore but it is out there.

The OCD says to me, "make them work or change the bumper" so yeah people here have had some luck making them work. This is indeed on the To Do list

I haven't seen the website you mention but this guy has been selling LED rear fogs on eBay for a while.

I have a similar level of OCD but for $248 + $58 for shipping I've managed to resist. For the same reasons, I can't put in anything that doesn't at least look like it came from the factory and don't want to do one of the creative hacks to install lighting found on the forum.

Thanks for the links and follow-up suggestions. Looks like a trip to the parts store is in order for the sockets. Also sounds like LED 1157 bulbs will last a lot longer than conventional bulbs too. I'm guessing that using LED bulbs means I don't have to leave the vent open. It never rains here but still it looks like crud would end up in there unless a short section of tubing was looped to make a crud-trap.

The 4Runner is due some lift time for diff oil and PS flush. Plus the wheelhouse liners are a bit dusty and need to be waxed again... K's car sees --severe-- duty, like trips to the grocery store and hauling the church ladies around.

Just thought I'd add that I did this, went with LEDs and didn't cut the vent that is, over a year and half ago. Maybe 2 years, not sure. Both bulbs are still working after around 40K+ miles including a lot of night driving.

edit- and I just wish those eBay ones were cheap enough to buy to mod into backup lights, but $248 + $68 S&H is too steep.
