Rear hatch leak help

Ok have a challeange for yall. I havent thoughttoo much on it yet but decided i may try to find a fix for a problem i have with my 4runner.

When i have the rear hatch up and its raining, it will randomly start pouring in from around the top where i thought it would be covered. I realize that area could just get filled too fast but it really doesnt seem like thats the case.

So with that said does anyone experience the same thing and have any ideas for a fix?

Is the window all the way up on the hatch?

Yep the window is all the way up. The leak comes in between the actual door and the main body. Its almost like there should be more of a gutter on the main body so the door has more to drip into.

Its just a pain loading stuff into the back of the 4runner while its raining and suddenly a stream of water pours into the back.
