rear hatch window goes up and down crooked

My 3rd gen has had this issue for so many years now and I'm finally getting the rust repaired on my tailgate so why not fix this problem at the same time. So the window goes up and down crooked I'm tired of trying to fix it but would replacing the whole window regulator help with this issue and nothing else could be wrong since my motor works fine. Linked below regulator, any advice would be appreciated just want to know if the regulator will solve any problem or is there any other mechanism. More Information for DORMAN 740012

Check to see if the plastic clamp with pins that go through the bottom of the glass is in place, I had to replace some of mine with carriage bolts as they rusted away and my truck has very minimal rust anywhere else, you could also pull all of it apart and operate it to see what has gone wrong.

I've tried rolling it up and down to find the problem and honestly it beats me cause I hate dealing with window regulators, but ill check what you said again but I was just wondering if buying the whole regulator could fix any problem with it or is there any other components. just in case your fix doesn't work out. Ive replaced too many regulators on my land rover that I'm getting pro at iit.

You would really need to pull the panel off and have a look in there to see what's causing it to roll up crooked. Probably not the regulator though.

timmy did a video on replacing the rear glass, maybe it would give you some ideas
