Rear Heater vent question? 2000 4runner

Hey guys I have a 2000 4runner, I just noticed that it has a fan switch with a heater slide in the rear.
My question is, can I make it blow cold air from the A/C?
Has anyone done a mod for this?
I did a search and couldn't find anything on it.
Please let me know? Hopefully someone has already done it?

It's not tied to the AC however, with the temp all the down, it does work as a fan to just recirculate the existing air if that matters.

Of note though, I do flip the temp to warm every once in a while to move the coolant though the pipes rather than leaving it stagnant in the coil all summer.

Bummer! My kids were asking why they couldn't get cold air sitting in the back.
Maybe I'll try and modify it so the A/C will go to the back.

Just heat. I added a rear light that matches the dash, because you can't see it at night.

How do you do that? I can't see mine, when I am driving down the road, because I am looking at the road. Otherwise I don't sit in the back, since I am driving down the road LOL

Aren't your ECT and window switches on your middle console though, mine up up above the Climate Control on my 2000. Plus the supply wires are in a harness with multiple wires, do I just tap off of the one with power?

No there are by the brake. I love the 96-98 style and the dash with the cupholder, it keeps my coffee warm in the winter and my drinks cold in the summer.

Also added this one for inside the console lid.
