As long as it'll fit a Class III receiver it should fit. It's pretty ugly looking though

I like it. Easy installation & very compact. Would like to see some better pictures though. I am usually hesitant to buy things online when the website selling it has poor pictures & descriptions.

The back up bulb on the 4Runner is the 921 bulb which limits aftermarket replacements.

PIAA makes a bulb, which is expensive.

If you go on eBay and type 921 bulb you find a PIAA replacement for $10 and a set of LED bulbs 2 for $2.50 that are supposed to be twice as bright as OEM.

At least it's cheap to replace when you DO hit it with a trailer's coupler when hitching up solo and misjudging where you're supposed to be.. (yeah, I did it once with the 4Runner; it's hard to see back there... I never had that trouble with a Blazer I had, because it was so easy to see where the hitch ball was).

The middle plastic piece for a grey-cladded '03 (like mine) is only about $80-85 brand new from the dealer... That replaces the entire middle section of your rear bumper. I didn't feel so bad about hitting it and putting a nice crease in it after I found out the price wasn't so bad. Replacing it is a piece of cake, too. Now if I'll just stop being lazy and go order it....

Since my NAV system should be arriving via UPS from Jason this afternoon, that may be next on my list... Especially since I do a lot of towing...

How difficult/costly is it to hook up once the NAV system is in place?

i have backup camera. but sometimes at night i can't see my rear right corner for paralel parking because i tinted my window and also sometimes it's a little too dark using the camera

Are you putting in the Toyota nav or an aftermarket. I'm assuming its the Toyota nav since its coming from Jason. All you have to do is tap the reverse circuit mount and wire the camera. Aftermarket nav's are probably just as easy.

Okay, I just got the NAV system yesterday afternoon and installed it as soon as it arrived. I did tap the VSS wire and the reverse wire, so that functionality should be fine.

Does the NAV unit just 'know' when there is a camera plugged in so that it switches to the camera view when you go into reverse if you have on hooked up?
