Rear LCA mounting width?

I don't have my 4Runner with me so I cannot measure but I would like to order new joints for some control arms I will be making. I think I saw somewhere that they were about 2-3/8" mounting width but I cannot find where I saw that. Also what size is the bolts holding the LCA's? I may just have to wait until this weekend to take measurement but i'd like to order today. I know most joints use a 2-5/8" mounting width and I don't want to order something that I will have to fight to get installed. I'm still deciding what joints to use depending on the mounting width. Also wondering if the UCA's are the same size.

They're 2-3/8" with a 19mm bore. You can use them with a 9/16" bore as well since it's pretty much the same size.

LCA- 2-3/8" with a 19mm bore
UCA- 2" with a 12mm

Thank you. Do you mean 14mm instead of 19mm? Because that would be almost exactly 3/4"
And that is the measurement for both frame and axle side on uppers and Lowers correct?

I fat fingered that one. It is 14mm for both the frame and axle side for the LCA's. If you decide to go with 9/16" you'll have to drill out your mounts by about a 1/16". The UCA's are 12mm on the frame and axle side too.

Awesome. Drilling out the mounts will be pretty easy. I think I'm going to go with the metal cloak Duroflex joints. Just gotta decide if I want to spend the money on using those joints on all ends or just the axle side and have bushings on the frame end.

Keep in mind that Metal Cloak will only warranty their joints if you use them on both ends. You'll also have to go with the 2-5/16" since they don't offer a 2-3/8". Which will still work for you just fine.

That's kind of the reason I would like to use them at all ends and the 2-5/16 is so close it shouldn't be much of a problem and I could always throw in a washer between there.

I doubt I will ever need to use the warranty but it's nice to know I have less chance of binding and a good warranty
