Rear Liftgate is stuck

Please help. My liftgate will not open for anything. The handle is completely limp. There is no tension at all on the handle is there any DIY solution for this or do I have to go to a body shop?

the latch cord prolly fell off the handle if there isnt any tension. have you tried to pull off the cover from the inside of the truck?

No, I haven't. Is it possible to pull the cover off with the door closed? I think you have diagnosed the problem correctly though...

crawl inside and takeoff the cover as stated above
