rear long travel issue

Hello Guys

can you advise me what I did wrong.

I have installed long travel on the rear but it seems that when I installed king shocks and I've extend bumbstop in fact i have reduce the wheel travel not extend.

That link setup from TC isnt referred to as a long travel setup, just stronger and adjustable to correct for lift angles.
In the pictures you posted, it looks like the rear shocks are too long. What length stroke are they?

Don’t know the shocks specs, but.

Aside from brake lines, locker harness, ect... travel is from the bump stop at the top, to the full length of the shock at the bottom.

If you put on longer shocks and longer bump stops you should have increased down travel and reduced up travel. You would then need taller rear coils to move the axle down to a position more central in the travel range.

Or like mentioned above, your shocks are too long for your current coil setup.

You would have less travel if you still have stock coils/no rear lift.

Cool looking Runner! Did you swap out the original rear springs? because if you just bolted on lower control arms and king shocks with original springs that’s not going to give you more travel.

I don't own a 3rd gen, so take this for what it's worth, but I agree with the above. Your shock might be too long and has no "up" travel, there by reducing your overall wheel travel. It looks like your not even going to get into your bump but about a 1/2" before your shock fully compresses. Your ride height looks pretty good, so maybe your springs are where you need them, but also like mentioned above, if you didn't upgrade your springs, all that shock travel won't do you any good. It also looks like your lower link will contact the reservoir on full compression of the shock. I would say any 4 link set up like this needs almost as much "up" travel as "down".

Here is a link to my custom length 4th gen I built with some shared knowledge from some of the Cali members. So regarding to my build tread:

I have full longtravel front and rear with TC and King, regarding to the spring I have installed toytec superflex +3''

right now I figured the option to add move the shocks socket

but now the issue is how to replace shock caps to allot side mouting, any ideas?
