Rear quarter window replacement

Hey guys, my rear passenger quarter window shattered from a guy using a Weedwhacker on the side of the road , flinged a rock and hit the window.
This is On a 2006 4Runner v8 sport.

His insurance gave me money for the window, my question is have any of you ever used Safelite for the rear quarter glass? Does the glass tint match perfectly?
How is the glass quality?
I insisted they use Toyota glass but they said their glass is just fine and the insurance refused to pay extra for the OEM glass.

I got a quote for $318 including glass, should I spend an extra $200 and get the Toyota glass and have someone else install it?

Welcome to hear your opinions!

The aftermarket glass is fine and tint matches perfectly. Do yourself a favor and skip Safelite. Read reviews for local auto glass shops and insist to your insurance where you want the work done.

Your part number is FQ21884 YPY

Thanks for the quick reply! The part number another place was giving me for the glass was- FQ21884GTY
Do you know the difference between the GTY and YPY?
Thanks

Which ever way you go, just remember the rear quarter windows each have a radio antenna grid installed in them. So the replacement glass needs to have the grid included, and the installer needs to know how to install the glass so the antenna grid works properly.

Thank you both for the information, installer is coming today so will let you know on the results, I am using a local glass installer with excellent reviews....
