So, I've been debating the last couple weeks about doing the rear fog lamp mod. But ric and I have been talking about how it would be really nice to make those into clear reverse lights for better visibility when reversing at night.
But obviously it's red. My question: Is the red just a reflector/plastic insert?
For instance, I used to have a saab 9-3 where the corner lamps had an orange reflector. I wanted the clear look and so all i had to do was get a screwdriver in the housing and break away the reflector, and done, clear lamps.
Does anyone know the answer to this question or am I going to have to find out the hard way and possibly have to buy another reflector on ebay?
