Rear sag spring brand questions

Ok so I am looking at replacing my rear springs that have settled. I know these are shot and need replaced however my question is has any one on this board used the Moog springs or should I stay with the Toyota ones even though I know they will sag since that's what they do over time. Moog is like 60$ and toyotas are about $185 Or is there a better choice. I don't want any lift and it's a 2000 SR5 V6 with 16in wheels 115,000 miles.

Many have used Moog with various results based on what I've read. Even if the Moog's only last few years, you could buy 3 sets for the price of one set of OEM.

I tend to like OEM but if the price can't be justified, go with a good aftermarket brand.

Find some used FJ cruiser springs or even 5th gen ones. there are write ups on both. Little lift and a marshmallow ride. A coiled pipe cleaner is better than moog springs.

If you want a set of rear '99 coils, send me a PM. They'll give you a 'little' lift ~1" in the rear over stock height, but they ride great and don't have a lot of miles on them. I've got them boxed up and everything when I went to OME's

I can attest the 99 coils did give me a 1" lift and the ride quality is very nice. If you're currently sagging pretty bad, you're going to see a pretty big improvement with the clearance and ride quality in the back.

Please leave this thread and don't come back I asked nothing regarding shocks also nothing about whats better simply asked about 2 specific kinds of springs get your thread count up somewhere else. :focus:

I recently installed Monroe Quick Struts in the front and Monroe shocks paired with Moog rear coils in the back. Gained about an inch lift overall and the ride's restored to it's original condition. Truck had 230K miles on original suspension and needed it bad!

When I bought them they were $31.45, now it's $37.50, still a GREAT price! If interested in Monroe, they have a rebate where if you buy a pair of Quick Struts and a pair of shocks you get $75 prepaid Visa. Expires end of this month I think. Got mine from RockAuto + tacomaworld discount.

I decided to replace mine with MOOG and added AirLift air bags. While I was going to replace the springs, I figured why not double up on the issue. I went with MOOG as I could get them locally at AdvanceAutoParts and bought them online and used the promo code TRT30 which got me 30% off. I ordered the airlifts from Amazon.com (Best price around). I did this in December of 2012 and have had ZERO issues since then. I run about 15PSI in my airbags. Best mode I have ever done on my stock suspension other than the Bilsteins.

Rear coils had never been replaced (230K miles) so Moog lifted the vehicle back to it's OEM height.
