I've got a96 t4r with 150k on it. It's got a bit of sag normally, but when I hooked up my dirt bike trailer with a couple of dirt bikes, it sagged ALOT, even though the tongue weight is still pretty light.
I've gotta take it in for the rear suspension recall - will that solve the towing sag? If not, what do you guys suggest?
I do very little off roading, and alot of highway driving. The truck rides a bit rough, but not terrible. I don't think I want any rougher ride then it's got now, but i'd prefer something smoother.
edit: Just realized that I'll probably be using my motojack on the t4r - one of those motorcycle carriers that attach to the hitch, but don't have wheels. The bike and hitch weigh about 300 pounds and sit about 2 1/2 feet off the back of the bumper. Air shocks? Air bags? heavier springs? I used air shocks on my 89 toyo 4x4 - they helped a little, but not much. I'm still hoping for decent ride when i'm not towing or using the moto jack.
Thanks
