Rear Shock Question

After some searches, i'm still not sure what I need. My 97 4Runner is lifted 3", Toytec front and I think its 8.5 or 9 wrap LC Coils with Toytech shocks. I need rear shocks, something that will help with the bounce.

Here's what I noticed....went and picked up 6 boxes of wood flooring and a sink / cabinet setup. All loaded in the rear and my 4Runner ran beautilfully, no swerving, no bouncing, drove like a dream.

I do know I have some other issues, inner tierods and front steering bushings that need to be replaced, but I think replacing the rear shocks will help out greatly.

Thanks

Describe "bounce".

Also ToyTec sells different rear shocks. Which ones do you have?

What pressure are you running in your tires?

It's not the tire pressure, i've played with that enough to know its not that.

As for shocks, I think they are the Toytec 9004's. The bounce is kinda hard to explain. Its like a hard bounce, maybe like there isn't enough shock to release and its stoppin quick...

There were post about replacement shocks for the rear for guys runing LC coils.

Thanks
Bob
