Hey guys first post here on T4R. Ive got a 98 limited that I bought recently and the top mount of my rear passenger side shock has busted. It looks like it was just rusted. I was wondering what type of shock is best to replace them with. I take it offroad every couple months or so on some moderate to difficult trails but I am not interested in lifting it quite yet. What would be a good replacement shock would be good offroad but ride similar to OEM? Or should I just order the OEM shocks to replace them with?

I have been really happy with my Bilstein HD shocks so far. While they are a bit more spendy upfront I think that they will last longer than other shocks. They are a bit stiffer than OEM, but if anything it has helped tighten up the body roll when cornering. It's certainly not a jarring ride.
