Rear shocks Recommendation.

So I decided to go with Bilstein HD, instead of the Rancho for my rear shocks. Definitely a huge improvement from the oem shocks. I get little bounce, shocks are firm and keep the truck planted on the ground. when I make a left or right turn I get little body roll. Also made truck ride smoother. Thanks everyone for the help.

What rear shocks are you guys using for a LC coil lift? I'm either gonna use the 8 wraps LC coils or 9 wraps and I don't know which shocks to get.

Would the rs5000 go well with 891 ome's? Or would i need a longer shock? I'm not in a position to pay $200 for 2 shocks after just buying a new vehicle so was needing a cheaper shock set for the rear. Thanks.

Bumping an old topic. Since nobody answered my last one I've done a lot more research since. So it here it goes:

I found that after the OME 881/891 lift and their nitro shocks from what I gather here is their specifications I found.

Front Shocks: N91 - Compressed: 13.2" Extended: 18.5"
Rear Shocks: N86* - Compressed: 13.0" Extended: 21.2"

Assuming the N86 is very close to the newer 9004's.

So is it possible to get Rancho RS9000XL's for the front as long their extension/compression match up? Or will the upper and lower mountin codes/brackets need to match up?

I notice on the bilstein 5125's from toytec they include a eye bracket to fit our lifts. Would this be necessasary with ranchos?

I'd like to order asap because factories are shot and doing major body surgery this week so would like toget it all done at once. Thanks for opinions and help inadvance. Ready for this lift to be on. Already!!

get the ome shocks and you will be happy, the rear ome n86 shocks on my runner outlasted my sway away coilovers......
