i love them. its about 3.5" lift over stock. this is with about 100 lbs of subs in the back.

As for weight, this was about 250 lbs of tong weight from the trailer resting on the ball, then about another 300-400 lbs of stuff in the back, i think it sagged about 1.5-2"

Dont waste your time and money on Superflex coils if you are planning on running 400lbs of extra weight. Been there, done that. The spring rate is just too low for carrying weight.

Air bags would be better with OME Heavy duty springs. would you agree?

Probably, or just run the ome 861. Air bags arent the ideal setup for a flexy suspension. Lots of people on here running 861s with fullsize 33-35 spares, rear plate bumpers and a shit ton of cargo gear. No complaining from anyone that i have seen. They are as long as the superflex also so there is no worries about them falling out under full droop.

To be fair that extra weight is only on trips correct?

99% of the time you won't have the weight. Yes?

Him saying he wants "3 inch lift with 400lbs of cargo" gave me the impression he would be hauling that weight daily. That is a very good question though and one that will dictate what he needs.

FYI, with no weight, other than the stock rear bumper and spare tire in the original location, I got 4" lift with these springs. When I load up the Runner with tools, recovery gear and camping gear for 2 for a week, I still find that the springs are slightly too stiff. But only slightly.

Never heard anyone describe the superflex as stiff. Just goes to show that everything is preference.

OP, you need to spend some time reading the link that Mime posted, all pertinent information is in there regarding my experience along with others who have ran them against other coils.

Back when no one had heard of OME, I bought leafs for my Cruiser from them. They were supposed to be rated to hold and extra 400KG, not pounds. Well when I installed them they put the rear of my truck up about 4" higher in the rear than the front and my driveshaft wouldn't reach, safely.

So basically I was an idgit!

Extended bump stops would be a solution. That's how Toyota designed them to work. Sonoran steel made me a custom pair for my rear. They were made with really good quality.

Bump stops don't limit down travel. That cone that comes stock inside the coil will fall out with the spring under full axle droop.

I'm running the superflex. They hold their height and handle weight, only to a certain point. They are extremely soft, and comfortable riding due to the progressive coils (notice how the top of the coil winds are tight compared to the bottom). They did excellent when I went camping, carrying a 33" spare inside the vehicle, along with one 150 qt cooler of pure block ice, one 100 qt. cooler of ice, drinks, and food, and a 60 qt. cooler of beer and ice, along with fishing and camping gear. It still retained a nice level height with this amount of weight, I would guess about 350lbs, never saggy diapered on me.....

Until, I went with a custom rear tube bumper and tire carrier to hold me 33" so I would have more cargo room. I thought about buying OME 861's, but the superflex coils were not even 8 months old and I couldnt justify spending another 300 bucks for another set. So i just threw daystar spacers in the back and never been more happy. I love my superflex springs.

I just finished installing the Toytec Ultimate kit with Superflex in the rear 2 days ago. I can't comment on long-term obviously, but so far it has been nice. I have no extra weight in the rear at all, but may get a tube bumper (no tire carrier) in the future. As it sits now, I'm 39.5" ground to fender on the drivers side and 40" on the passenger with my 33" duratracs. I think the consensus seems to be this is a great option if you plan on stock weight or light weight in the rear. I'll comment again to see if they sag much as time goes on.

Thanks for the input. Can you please also measure the distance from the center of the wheel to the 12'O clock of the wheel well?
Thanks
