I am interested in new springs for the rear of my '87 4runner. I found some at Marlin Crawler out in Cali. I REALLY like their springs out there. Can anyone tell me how easy it is to install larger longer springs, or does any one have any suggestions for another fix? I am open to any suggestions at this point, as i am trying to get it done swiftly. Thanks

Sam here again,
How long are the new springs? The stock length is 47", any more than that and you will have to remount your spring perches, which would be a lot of hassles. You should pick up a set of 4" springs from Pro Comp. Thats what I did and it worked out awesome. I also made a set of dual shackles to increase flex. They consist of stock Toyota shackles and a set of GM stock rear shackles. They ran $14 a piece through the dealership. Just bolt em together with a pair of 9/16x bolts adn your ready to go. The springs run about $129 a piece if I recall right. Try www.summitracing.com . The dual shackles have been such a huge improvement. I got about an inch out of those and the 4 inches out of the springs. Good luck, Sam.
