Rear suspension

trying to fix the rear driver side sag which is about 1inch currently. Had the truck a couple months now and previous owner never mentioned it had airbags in the springs which I just found when I seen some air fittings under bumper. I was planning on putting some Ome springs in the back. Is that enough to hopefully level out back end since I'm assuming they are original. One of airbags is not holding air so I thought I would just remove them. Don't tow anything and other than camping gear no weight in the back end either or should I replace airbags as well? Thanks

Sounds like someone was towing and it probably wore out the suspension pretty bad. I would replace rear shocks along with the coils and remove the air bags.

I will order some springs for it. It currently has bilstein shocks on it that look fairly new , no rust , leaks anywhere on them both front and rear. Anyway to test shocks? Rear end is very stiff currently I can't tell what model they are either. Any markings that would tell me? Good source for suspension parts someone can steer me towards. Thanks

OME 906 are nice, and are side specific - should fix you up.

Found code on the shocks . Both front and rears are heavy duty model bilstein shocks. Any code markings on springs? Curious if they are stock springs or if any type of lift. Currently running 265/75-16 tires with plenty of clearance. Get rear springs ordered tomorrow. Hope home install not to hard to do. Managed LBJ myself, shouldn't be much worse. Research springs a little more tonight on choices

Is there an easy way to tell if my runner has been lifted? I have no clue at this point what a stock one would sit like. Except for drivers rear side all wheel openings from ground up to bottom of opening measure at 34 and 3/4 inch in height thru center of wheels and that one is at 34inch. The rear bump stop is sitting 3 inches above axle now unloaded and full of gas if that helps any. I like the way it sits now and not looking for much more lift if any. Thanks

Pictures worth a 1000 posts.

Hope this works. Lousy at this
