rear suspension

i need a little unneeded help. the stock rear coil springs have gone bad and sag 4" with nothing on it. wanted to just put new springs on it and call it good but father wont let it bc he thinks thats not why it bottoms out when pulling a small trailer. he is wanting to put air shocks on it even though we just put skyjacker nitro 8000 shocks on 3 months ago. im now thinking air bags for the back but know nothing about them or how well they hold up to wheelin. any recommendations?? :happens:

Did you read the "About Rear Sag" sticky? You should have your dad read that so he knows that the issue your dealing with is a direct result of the springs. As others have mentioned, don't use air bags to fix a coil spring issue. The air bags are helpers and will not function properly if the springs are not handling the load in the first place. Springs are the proper and easier fix for the sag issue.
