Rear Trim

Hoping everyone has a good and safe 4th!

Question.... Has anyone had any experience removing all of the rear trim and headliner from their Runners? My subwoofers are rattling the roof insanely (yeah, yeah I know turn the volume down right?) and I want to get in there this weekend and see what I can do with the sound deadening material I already have.

I've already removed the cross members from the roof rack, but that didn't help out all that much. Plus the roof flexes when the bass hits, and I want to reinforce it with the deadening material.

Went to the auto parts store but they did not have the Haynes manual in stock and it would take 2 weeks to get. Since I have a 3 day weekend I'd like to get in there tomorrow.

Thanks!

The panel on the roof comes out only AFTER you pop out the rear cargo dome light and take out the 4 screws, then it just pops out with clips.

The side cladding is mostly held in with clips, you have to take out the two 'seats' for the rear cargo cover, they have little screws, but the rest is just clips.

In regards to those clips, are you saying it's like taking off the door panels to either access the speakers or window assembly?

Thanks in advance!
