99 4runner the rear window motor appears to be seized, my question is can any other motor be swapped in, does it have to be from a 3rd gen, does it have to be a Rear window motor, will a door motor work. I just got the truck and didnt get any history on it all the guy said was the window didnt work. I just took the panel off and the motor was unplugged, why I dont know, the window is all the way up so shouldnt the wiper work.
I would like to add that the defrost isnt working either, and there is no clicking or any sound at all coming from the gate, the switch on the dash seems weird aswell, the rocker seems too easy.
