Rear window won't move

Over the weekend I noticed that my rear gate window won't move. I can hear the motor spin but nothing. Tried doing some searching, but haven't found much. Is this a common problem. Guessing the track is jammed or the gear on the motor broke. This is a 99 limited by the way.

More than likely you need another regulator. Uncover it and have someone help with the switch while you watch/hear.

The motor is hot. Can hear it working but window won't drop.

You're going to have to crack open the tailgate and see what's going on in there. It's not hard to get the cover off. Just take the pulldown strap off (one screw) and start around the bottom corners and pry it away from the metal. Once the bottom side is loose push it upwards and it will slip off at the top.

Pulled everything apart. Greased. Checked the movement by hand and everything worked. Motor spun with no issues. And now it works. Could have just been jammed I guess.
