Rear wiper arm replacement

I will start with I'm an idiot, but that shouldn't be a surprise.

I went to replace the rear wiper. Unfortunately I got the blade assembly on backwards and broke the clips no the arm. :doh:

Any idea how to replace the arm? I can see the nut under the spoiler, but I suspect I need to remove the spoiler completely.

Any clue for the clueless?

OP, search 5th gen rear wiper arm replacement. May have to remove spoiler as it is a very cramped setup.

Yup. Found the Service Manual. There are 4 rubber gromets on the inside of the hatch.

I just did the same stupid thing!

Can you tell me how you replaced it. Did you remove the spoiler??

I didn't take it apart yet. From the questions, I'm assuming there are others that need to replace that arm too?
