Rear wiper blade not touching?

Posted thin in the 4th gen thread. Should've been here...

The rear wiper blade on my '05 makes almost no contact with the window. Swings fine and gets back to "base", but is useless for actually wiping anything as it doesn't touch the glass.

Any ideas?

Just did that. No difference.

As far as I can tell there's no dirt etc. to be cleaned, the tension on the spring feels ok, I can't see anything that would need lubing...

The dealer wants $110 just to "diagnose" it.

I had this happen on another suv, all I did was lube where I could, hinge in/out, and even where the spring attached to the arm, and worked it back and forth, made it really free flowing, no problems after that, hope this helps.

On my last oil change I whined again to the dealer service. This time the guy installed a new arm (free of charge).
It does make better contact now, but still pretty much sucks. The last half-to-quarter of the path is quite bad. I'm going to live it at that for now. In about one year of ownership I had to (but I mean really had to) use it probably 2-3 times.
