Rear Wiper doesn't hit the glass

as the title says the rear wiper doesn't really hit the glass. well, about 15% of it does. im gunna mess with it tomorrow but figured id ask to see if anyone has dealt with this before.

Yes they have, you can find several topics and many posts on this subject by doing a search, but there are 3 ways to solve the issue and just messing with it isn't one of them, one way is to purchase a new arm from the dealer, another way is to remove the arm and using a dremel to remove a little bit of metal in the area where the hinged portions hit each other on the underside, if you do the search you can see better what I'm referring to, a 3rd way is an after market spring that attaches to the arm that helps apply more pressure at the hinged area and thusly makes the wiper fully seat to the wimdow, like I said the 2 work around methods can be found by doing a search.

I would do the search for you but I'm short on time at the moment.

I bought mine used, it did that. A quick inspection revealed that the previous owner had installed a blade that was too long and the end would ride on the metal of the hatch door. I bought the correct one at the dealer and it solved the problem.

thank you all for the info. the brief search i did kept leading to just wiper blade issues and not the arm. much appreciated!
