Rear Wiper Motor replacement.
Who has done this? Tips? Guidance?
The thread to retain the wiper blade nut has sheared off the spindle.
I have a replacement motor.
Upon disassembly of the liftgate trim and access panels, I learned that this is not an easy job. I would prefer not to disassemble the window/motor etc.
The wiper motor is BEHIND the window motor/gear assembly. However, there is access to the three mounting bolts. There seems to be a slight possibility that it can be removed, slid to the right and removed through the small access panel on the right side.
Getting hands in there to disconnect the power is tough since space is very tight.
