The base of the wiper arm fits a tapered shaft with notches. The mounting screw forces the arm socket to wedge down on the shaft. When you remove the mounting screw, you will have to pry the arm off of the shaft to remove it. Sometimes lifting the arm and rocking it back and forth will be enough to break it free.slyangel9 said:Some punk broke the rear arm!!! Does anyone know how to disassemble. I removed the plastice piece to reveal the screw. Once that was unscrewed the arm would disattach. Am I missing something?
Thanks.
