Rear Wireless Radio Question

Has anyone upgraded their HU and still been able to use rear radio with the wireless headphones? I just recently got the headphones and am now upgrading to the Kenwood DDX8017 with 10 disc cd changer and SIRIUS tuner. I would hate to have wasted money on the headphones and now they are useless.

I lost access to mine, but I doubt the installers made much of an effort to keep it connected as they didn't plug in the steering wheel controls when that was all they had to do with the unit I got in order to keep that functionality.
