Rearview mirror w/ compass

I have a SR5 with a standard rearview mirror. I’m curious about the auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass.

Does it come as an option? Count I get it installed at a Toyota dealer? Is it worth the hassle (question for the owners that have this mirror with the compass)?

It can be added by yourself or the dealer. I plan to do it soon as well. Here are a couple of good threads on the subject:

You could have your Toyota dealer install it for you if you want. I got mine from BrandSport. The only thing is when I got my truck, the dealer told me that it can't be installed. When I showed them that it can, they did it for free! So if you want your dealer to install it, don't take the line that it is only available on the Limited. Also, it is definitely worth it. It really helps reduce the glare during nightime driving. The cool part is you can blind other cars but they can't blind you!!
