The Postal Service created a 39 cent first class stamp with a
picture of President Bush. The stamp was not sticking to envelopes which enraged the President, who demanded a full investigation. After a month of testing, a special presidential commission presented the following findings:

1) The stamp is in perfect order.
2) There is nothing wrong with the applied adhesive.
3) People are spitting on the wrong side.

Great joke...not that I hate the guy either but with some slight alteration to the wording you could make this joke work for alot of different applications.

Same joke...take out George W. and install TOM CRUZ!

Adding a Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfield, or Condelezza Rice photo to this stamp would also yield the same non-adhesive results. The whole operation is a screw-up in my opinion!

They came out with a stamp of Ellen DeGeneres, but the idea was turned down at the last minute. Seems that too many people found that you could lick it on either side.
