Got an update yesterday. Production complete on 7/31. Supposed to get on the boat 8/19 and Arrive in port 9/2.

I asked my salesman today if any updates and he said Looks like it will port Aug 27th. I then asked which port since I am on east coast he said, I'm not sure maybe NY/NJ and he was going to ask.

Yeah buddy! Just got notification that the car should get on the train July 31st which would have it at the dealership on August 16/17 for my wife and I to pickup on August 21st! :whoo: Now to get the current 4Runner cleaned up and ready for sale...

2010 SR5 w/ 150k on the clock sold in less than a day on craigslist (I guess I should have asked for more *shrugs*) but the new vehicle is at the dealer, clean, and ready for pickup tomorrow. Actual arrival date was 8/17.

With the news that production is being cut, we are lucky to have ordered when we did.

My was built the beginning of July. Mine reached port on 29 July and today it finally went freight. It is scheduled to arrive in Ohio at the dealership sometime between 9-14 September. I had a few things installed at port like TRD Pro exhaust, skid plate, USBs, and door film.

Just got a phone call with an update this morning. It made it into freight status and estimated to arrive at dealer between 9/27 and 10/4.

It’s just going from Portland to East Idaho so I can’t imagine it would take on the longer end of that.

This question goes out to all the people who placed deposits down and received a 4Runner in the last few months. How long did it take to receive the truck after placing your deposit? How long did the dealer estimate it would take vs. how long you actually waited?

Found a dealer in Eastern Tennessee with n allocation for a Lime Rush Pro - deposit on same day (10/21/2021) - got Vin and specs a few days later heard it was to hit Portland 11/4 and today got notice that dealership expects middle of December (original ETA was mid-January). MSRP versus local Colorado with $12.5k "Market Adjustments". Even with flight to TN, hotels, food for myself and wife plus gas, I will be saving thousands. And I get a road trip out of it:thumb3:

This question goes out to all the people who placed deposits down and received a 4Runner in the last few months. How long did it take to receive the truck after placing your deposit? How long did the dealer estimate it would take vs. how long you actually waited?

I gave deposit for brand new TRD Pro end on June, like 28th I believe, and truck landed first week of September, took another week for them to get it ready, so basically under 2.5 months total time.

I know I’m late to the party but built 3/2021 and delivered 4/30/2021. I don’t know how you find the actual DAY of manufacture. I went by the MO/YEAR on door plaque.

There is so much slop in the system that my guess would be from 2.5 months to 3.5 months. I think a lot of it has to do timing.

I waited a long time, I knew we were moving to Northern Idaho, and I knew I wanted to get a 4Runner to go with our Tundra. I called the Coeur d'Alene Toyota dealer and after some negotiation he agreed to $300 over MSRP for a 4R ORP in metallic grey with KDSS.

I put $1000 down in the middle of May, Picked it up after a couple of delays in the middle of August. I can't recall the date I started the process but It might have been the first or second week of May.

I don't think you can judge by any single example though.

Put a deposit down, dealer secured one for me TRD OFF Road in Silver, 6 weeks ETA. This will be my 3rd 4runner all of which are 5th gens each time.

They also gave me 49500 CAD on my trade in before tax savings. It was impossible for me to say no.

Like others have mentioned, its dependent also in timing. I was a bit surprised it was only 6 weeks.

Put a deposit down on 2022 TRD ORP on November 8th, was told approximate arrival date of November 26th. It hasn't arrived yet, but I did get the VIN number a few days ago.

My 2022 left Japan on 17 Aug, arrived East Coast POE 14 Sep, arrived dealer Richmond VA late evening 14 Oct, delivered to me 10 AM 16 Oct.

From order to delivery 5 weeks!

Placed the order on November 2nd 2021 for a Lunar Rock 2022 TRD Offroad Premium. Picked it up from my dealer last night December 6th 2021.
Five weeks to the day.

It does seem like they're beginning to flow on to lots quicker than before. My local dealer had these two on the lot, including a "rare" Lime Rush TRD Pro.
