Recent crash & insurance settlement offer

This is a follow-up to my recent auto accident. The at-fault driver's insurance carrier (Traveler's) has determined my vehicle to be a total loss.
I was in a 2013 4Runner SR5 4WD w/76K miles and in great shape, no prior accidents.
First settlement offer is about $32K. Looking at the Comps used for their offer now. Looking at other information like NADA and KBB to help me size-up their offer.

To me, that sounds like an amazing first offer for a 10 y/o SR5 4Runner. We paid $38.3K for our brand new 2020 TRD ORP back in July 2020.

You can search private party and trade-in values on the NADA and KBB websites. KBB says that your 4Runner is worth $22K in the private party market. But KBB is a bit lower than NADA. I didn't look up NADA yet. If you try and push that offer number higher, you'll really need to provide more than one piece of proof that the market is higher than what they are offering.

Yeah that doesn't sound bad at all. The current market is a mess, but that's not much below what it would have stickered at 10 years ago

FT has used car prices beginning to crash. If its a good offer take it before it goes down due to market pressure

I would grab that before they realize their mistake.

My bad - the offer was $23K+. I mis-typed the original $32K figure. Long day.

I still think, based on some initial research, it's a solid initial offer.

I was given considerable "credit" for low mileage. Any mods purchased more than 1 year ago are not considered. My truck only had basic upgrades and most were installed 6-8+ years ago.

Looking for justification of higher value to submit for counter-offer.

23k is super low for the mileage, you won't finfd anything w 70k miles under $30k aim for 27k 28k settlement.
