Recent loss of power

I have an 86 4runner SR5, recently changed fan belts and clutch master cylinder when I left the shop there was a dramatic loss of power and a hissing noise. Any ideas of what could be going on?

Sounds like a vacuum line got knocked off or broken…..Spray a little carb cleaner around where you were working. If the revs pick up, you're on the right track.

That was my guess too so I checked the hoses and they all seemed to be good.

Hissing in the engine bay is like a 95% sure fire sign of a vacuum leak somewhere. You have the 4 banger so I am not sure but there is a vacuum line around the clutch master so check there first. But if your hearing it as you drive I would assume it would have something to do with the intake maybe? Or a bigger vacuum line.
