I know its a personal choice for most but Im interested in getting either a 1" Body lift or a 1.5" Body lift what would those of you who have them recommend/ are there any brands worth recommending over others? I already have a 3/2 toytec spacer lift and 285's and im planning on getting Billstiens all around and switching the spacer with some ome coils also. I just wanted to add a little more height to help ease my mind with the thought of flexing and taking out a fender flare after installing my spacers this past weekend.

I'd recommend a 4crawler 1 1/4 Body lift. You can move your bumper up exactly that amount by moving up one set of holes on your frame.

if you plan to get bilsteins in the near future and don't hardcore wheel your rig regularly, the BL shouldn't be necessary. Just notch the bilsteins to the .85" or 1.5" setting. That will give you 4-5" of lift, which is quite a bit as is. When looking at another 1.5 or even just 1" , that would put you roughly 7 inches above stock geometry, and that may be pushing the envelope haha. I'm unsure, but certainly something to consider, and would save you a little green

I guess i never thought about that probably because right now i do have the toytec spacer and i was under thee impression you "shouldnt" have your billstiens on a lift setting with it....i never thought about after i get the coils

Most spacer lifts for us, and Toytec falls in this category i believe, are called top-out spacers, as opposed to pre-load spacers. This means they mount on top of the shock and so have no effect on the flex or travel of the shock. So you can run both the spacers and then notch up the bilsteins, from the best of my knowledge. It really will be alot of lift even with the lowest lift notch on the billies, but if it's excessive, you can definitely renotch it back down. This is definitely the thread you will want to check out to verify what I just said, but i do believe that is how it works. Hope this helps.

If you're concerned with aesthetics, I wouldn't go over 1.25" on the BL so you won't "see" through the frame and the body. Personally, trucks with larger body lifts look like trash.

The toytec 1" was perfect for my needs. I wanted a little more room to tuck the 285's and it provided space for my sliders to be mounted with the angle I wanted. Anything more and a steering spacer and new radiator mounts are required.

Yea I was leaning more towards the 1" because I didnt want to be able to see through the frame like mentioned above...Im also considering getting the AP 3.5" coils for the rear and some shocks ( havent decided which ones yet ) that are slightly extended in the back so they dont run out before the coil does & Billie 5100's set on .85 up front with 3" ome 884's ...I figured that would also give me an extra inch of lift compared to what I already have & that I may not even need a BL ( I know there are some other things I may need to go along with it *I.E. sway bar relocates, extended brake cables & maybe a spacer to level it out a bit) does that sound about right?...Though I never considered the idea about the sliders which I also plan on getting sometime in the future
