Recommended cleaning products

I just ordered my PC, clay, and wax so I can detail my '04 SR5 next week. Just wondering if you could recommend cleaning products for the following:

- Roof rack and running boards
- Interior (dash, doors, and plastic trim. Have been looking at 303 and Vinylex)
- Lights (I have a bunch of dried bugs stuck on them that are not coming off easily)
- Tires (I have Griot's rubber and vinyl dressing. Will this do or do I need something under it?)
- Wheel wells
- Instrument panels (looking for a polish to remove scratches)

Try looking in the Detailing section where you posted this thread. These are all already covered in other threads.

for the interior try Meguiars NXT. If you don't like a real shiney look...it does great. When it first goes on it appears that it will have a great deal of gloss and then it tones down.

For the lights...have you tried claying them?

For tires...I haven't found anything as good as Meguiars Endurance. This stuff is great. It makes the tires shine for a long time. It lasts through the rain really well. The best part is it smells like grape!

If you are talking about the clear plastic that covers the instrument panel...use Meguiars Plastix...I had scratches on my '02 and it got rid of them.

I like a clean truck but don't have the time to do all the wax on wax off..too busy working and playing..

That's why you need a PC.
Keep it clean and do it quickly. :thumb:

Easily three times faster for polish and wax than doing it by hand. Try one, you'll be hooked.
