So I've been looking under my 4runner and noticed 2 towing points each at the front and rear of the car. Do these count as recovery points or do I need something more?
Not sure the front one could take it, how do you go about putting in stronger recovery points? I know there is one that fits to the tow hitch receiver, but what about the front?
Those will be fine as long as your not stuck In some deep mud or having to really tug on it like having to have the other car get a running start. As for different pionts I'm not sure on a 4th gen
An aftermarket bumper with recovery points for the front would be good. The Receiver Shackle for the rear is a great option if you have a 2" Receiver. And of course some good Recovery straps. They will help absorb the heavy shock from hard tugs on your vehicle.
