Last Sunday when the 6.1 earthquake hit it was a good shake. word has it thats how this 10,000 foot volcano will wake up. hard and fast. everyone hear is aware of it, kinda on edge and kinda w a i t i n g............

I called S. she and Todd were throwin' back a couple of 32 oz bud lights and getting ready to head to the trailer........for a worship session.

So whats the latest with this volcano? I'm really looking forward to seeing this thing blowing its top again, but the damn thing is starting to drag it out a bit...

the latest observations of the Volcano have noted that there is a football field size depression in the mountain side as of last week. there are small earthquakes but none significant enough to trigger an eruption. here is a link with as much information as anybody can handle.....

Thanks Flyer. as I don't watch TV can I ask what they were saying? Here the Alaska Volcano Observatory is reporting a continuous tremor and a steam plume.

By the way we took N95s from work and got a wrist slap......I kept the masks. :

They said ash would be the biggest threat but not likely to be more than a thick dusting. They did a lot of comparing to the '89-'90 activity and expected this to be similar.

They didn't claim that's it would erupt any second but they also said it will happen soon.

I have been around nature to know that few know what really is going to happen. If there is a flank collapse it could be interesting..

No eruption has yet occurred at Redoubt Volcano. Unrest continues. Clear webcam images show a small steam plume. Volcanic tremor is ongoing with variable amplitudes.
