My first interests in Toyota was when i was a senior in highschool in 2010 my parents bought me a 91 Toyota pickup for $1500 from a friend. We put a little money into it for some maintenance that it needed and she ran like a champ.

A few months after owning that truck some guy didnt yield in an intersection and ran into me totaling my truck. One thing leads to another and I needed a new vehicle, and that is how I stumbled upon my 4runner. My girlfriends dad just so happen to be selling this truck. He has had it for sale for a couple of weeks with no luck. Thankfully he hadnt sold it yet. Once we talked to their insurance company and got the check I was the proud new owner of a 99' Toyota 4Runner. Talk about an upgrade not only was the truck 8 years newer but the A/C worked! Thats a must have down here in Louisiana in the summer time.
Enough talk, now to the truck.

Back when I was still in highschool I didn't have alot to spend so I did a few small mods like clear corners and HIDs and LEDs all throughout.

Now Ive been in college for a while and have been able to spend more on my truck.
Picked up a set of LC80 rims off Craigslist for $100 and a set of practically brand new BFG All-terrains for $600.
Went and found a little bit of mud

Then I decided I wanted a little lift so went and bought a cheap Daystar 2.5 lift with plans to upgrade in the future. I had a wheeling trip planned with a local group and wanted the extra height.
