Reese hitch installation on 2006 V8!!

Just bought a Reese hitch #44548. I am having real problems getting the plate and bolt that is welded to the arm, into the hole of the frame!! It does not fit into the hole at all! Any suggestions? on getting the bolt in so I can mount the last 2 bolts? Also, the directions are terrible and I can't figure out where to mount the wire harness onto the hitch. If anyone has pictures or advice it would be greatly appreciated!

if you could take some pics of the install and the hitch as well as upload a copy of the instrucitons, i'm sure i can help you out.

as for the wiring, I'd need to see what type of plug you are installing first.
