Regear 4:88 worth it

I want to know if i regear to 4:88 if i can improve my MPG, My 98 4runner is SR-5 4x4 with 2.5 lift front and 3.5 lift for rear with procomp 1089 17x9 -6 offset 305-65-17 as rite now my 4runner getting 14-15 MPG in city.

Need a little more information. If you are experiencing lots of downshifts to keep up speed (especially on hills), then the re-gear will probably net you an increase in fuel economy. You tire size is basically a short 33 or a tall 32, depending on how you look at it, that is right on the edge of the territory where you should be considering a re-gear.
