They should work. I used a new take off Tundra set on my 02 Tacoma (similar setup). They provided a firmer ride and about 1.5" of lift.
 
Like stated, they will give you a mild 1 or 1.5 lift. They are longer from the bottom shock mount to the lower spring pirch by 1 to 1.5 thats why you get the lift.

Another option is the tundra/LC lift for cheap. I got used LC coil springs and used 2003+ 4runner shocks for the rear. The tundra 5100 and my 4runner springs. Total is $300 and it rides soooo much better.

Will they work well and give you the lift and ride that you'd like? Doubtful.

They aren't a progressive spring like the TRD springs and are probably going to ride pretty stiff.
 
I followed the U-Tube video that Speedy's Garage did on the 2" lift on a 3rd gen. This uses a set of Tundra front springs and aset of EMU rear springs with a set of Bilstein shocks. The change was very simple and the truck rides so much better.

I did my changeout using new rubber isolators and the top hat pieces for the Tundra springs and had the shocks ready to go when I took the old ones off, so that I did not have to tear the old front shocks apart to make the change complete. After I assembled the shocks and springs, we had only two hours involved in the actual removal and install on the truck.

Those were specifically Tundra TRD springs, not the same as the OP is proposing to use.

There's a metric crapton of info on the TRD spring swap and the specifics of it. It doesn't apply to just any Tundra spring to have the same results.

Which "they" are you referring to?

The OP hasn't said which color code springs he has, and neither have you.:ybrick:

:flamethrwoer2:what would be the TRD spring part number from Toyota dealer so I can order the rite ones I’m going to install these and add a 1.5 spacer to get a 3inch lift thanks
 
:guitar2:and also if I were to go with OEM Toyota front shocks which ones would I need cause they have different type they have tundra V8 V6 extended cab 2wd 4wd and its kind of confusing trying to figure it out I’m just trying to get the ones that will fit on my 3rd gen 4runner
