Relocating TSS and ditching the 'black box' in front grille?

I have a 22 ORP with radar cruise and want to ditch the fugly black box and convert to non-tss grille - both for looks and so I can mount some lighting back there.

Looks like c4 fab sells a relocation kit that is straightforward.

Based on their pics, fabbing my own bracket to hold the sensor may be pretty easy (vs $165 ffs) - also seems like there aren't any functional issues with moving it, so long as it is aimed correctly?

Has anyone done this to their vehicles? Any concerns or notes to share?

I was hoping to do the same thing but also am unwilling to pay that much for the C4 bracket. My hope was to put a lightbar behind the lower grill after moving the TSS and swapping grill sections.

Same.

Seems like a pretty straightforward deal... just never like guinea pigging things like this. Considering 2"+ lifts can throw the TSS off, I have to assume relocating it bay be a bit touch and go.

I considered the relocation bracket, but I have the 360° cameras so I still couldn’t swap out the lower grille section. My new plan involves a pair of Morimoto Big Banger lights on either side of the radar box.

FWIW my 2022 had a 3”/2” lift and it didn’t affect the radar features at all.

I also have a '22 with front/360 cam. I looked at that and it seems like a super straight forward retrofit. non-Tss front grill should snap in with little modification, just need to fab a backing plate or washer situation to hold the camera to the bumper.
